New Mexico Program Fee Waivers
The 2010 SSP program fee of $3,850 covers all costs after arrival on campus: tuition, room & board, supplies, and local transportation during the program.
Again this year the State of New Mexico has funded full program fee waivers for all residents of New Mexico who have applied and been admitted to SSP through the usual process.
Q. How do I ask for a fee waiver?
A. The online form with which you open your application has a section where to indicate your state of residence.
Q. How many fee waivers are available for eligible students?
A. There is no particular limit, except that SSP's total enrollment is limited to 36 at each of two campuses, and we get applications from students worldwide.
Q. If I qualify for the fee waiver, what will I still have to pay?
A. You will have to provide your own transportation to and from campus (or the Albuquerque airport), and about $100 in spending money. Everything else is included: tuition, room & board, supplies, and local transportation during SSP.
Q. I don't attend a public school, am I still eligible?
A. Yes.
Q. Can I still get the waiver if I ask for the California campus?
A. Yes, the waiver is independent of campus assignment.
