Today was uneventful as we near the completion of our project. At this point, we have derived everything we need to complete the code, so we are starting to have more coding work time. During our lunch break, many of us bought some Chick-fil-A to eat and refuel. It was splendid. Now that most groups have gotten their three images of their asteroids, Dr. D. is beginning to open up the telescope for recreation separate from the project. While it has not begun yet, I imagine it will be in the foreseeable future.
After around 2 weeks of SSP being essentially the only program here on the GCSU campus, a new large group has arrived. While it may seem bad since the space will be more crowded, it is good news. It means that we will finally get more lunch and dinner options when eating. In the two weeks of program absence, we have not had much variety.
In very important news, we finally locked in. You may not believe it, but for 2.5 hours, we had a room completely focused on working while listening to jazz music. It is quite a phenomenon that does not occur naturally in nature.
