Bacteria and MOE (more)

On this humid, cloudy morning, I scraped some nasty smelling L-arabinose induced bacteria with a spatula and put them in a tube. My lab partners refused to do it because they were too disgusted by the fetid odor. Hopefully these bacteria get to work and make my protein soon, because I sacrificed my nostrils doing that job. Afterwards, we learned how to navigate the MOE tool, which allowed us to model protein molecules; using MOE was a pain (I had to restart twice), especially after learning how to use pyMOL. However, with some collaboration, I pushed through and learned the program. During dinner, Sam felt like breaking the ice cream machine, which made me very disappointed in him. After dinner, I played some basketball with friends and had a good time.
