Greetings! I’m Jim, currently a rising senior at a Massachusetts high school. Today, on June 18th, our TAs and site director gathered everyone for an enriching trip to the zoo. Despite the blistering heat, the experience has been absolutely marvelous! I encountered a diverse array of animals such as elephants, sea lions, and snakes. Additionally, the movie night proved to be incredibly enjoyable!
Oops…seems I talked too much about funny moments. Transitioning from leisure to academia, Week 1 has been both challenging and memorable. Our professors delivered numerous lectures and guided us in setting up chemostats to assess bacterial resistance to specific antibiotics. Collaborating with my exceptional lab mates has been a truly enriching experience. I find SSP immensely gratifying and eagerly anticipate the Week 2 program!
