I chose the worst possible two days to write my blog posts.

At first, I thought this blog post would take the form of a long, multi-faceted answer to the last QOD of SSP 2021

One of the long-standing traditions of SSP is the Question of the Day (QOD), where participants are asked to solve some challenge completely unrelated to their main project.

It’s the final day. Just one more day until we are ejected from the SSP-Zoom-universe and are thrust back into the real world.

So it’s 4:11 am EST, and I just started writing this blog post. Phew. What a day. Actually, what a week. Oh wait actually, what a month.

So, here we are. By the time this releases, there will only be two more days left of SSP, and one of them is the closing ceremony.

There are ways of beginning that involve memory, and others that involve sound, and still others that involve light.

I’ve decided to write an impromptu blog post just because there were just so many nice moments today. But first let’s talk about the struggles.
