Not only was it 4th of July, but it was the birthday of one of our most special faculty, Dr. Das! We like to think that the large firework show downtown celebrated both occasions. With a large musical ensemble and beautiful scenery, downtown was such a blast it was almost enough to forget the heat.
All this excitement didn’t mean that we abandoned work. We spent a day in the lab and lectures. Even still, we know how to have a good time!
