Today is 6/21/2024, four days after Monday, we have finally made it to the end of the week. We started off our day by troubleshooting and working on the chemostat, and our group got the autoclave to finally work after three tries! Then, Dr. Carter gave us lectures on some fascinating topics, like molecular evolution and next-gen sequencing. After dinner, everyone took part in a group photo, and many of us held up bananas. I’ve already learned so much at SSP, and I’m always looking forward to tomorrow! (Jerry)
