On the first day we did a scavenger hunt and moved into dorms. Next, we were introduced to the labs and began growing bacteria to produce our protein. We ran an SDS page to verify our protein was made, then proceeded to purify it in mass. I cooked lunch with my roommate yesterday, and we had steak. I also went to the horticulture garden and saw a lot of nice looking flowers.
