As Week 3 wraps up we are more than halfway through our great time at SSP. Now, you might be asking yourself how can SSP be a great time. All that happens is boring lectures and hard worksheets, but you’d be wrong. SSP is full of exciting information that challenges and stimulates the mind. They are huge challenges that keep you up until the early hours of the morning far different from the ordinary work of school. The cherry on top of all this is the wonderful people I have got to meet and hang out with over the course of these few weeks. The TAs are always super helpful in providing answers to my endless stream of questions. Colin is always open to talking about any nerdy thing, Molly is always there to make sure that you’re doing good, Kyle is quick to make a joke, and our Chaotic Overlord Laney always has something up her sleeve. My group mates are some of the smartest, most hardworking people I know and never hesitate to help me out. I have met so many people from all over the world, from right here in the United States all the way to China, each of them is unique and special, bringing new experiences that make time fly by. This community is full of interesting people that have a variety of talents and hobbies. I am able to go from discussing sports like tennis to playing video games and reading great books. Needless to say, all these interests make us a very chaotic bunch, we go from arguing about which part of the watermelon is the best (The correct answer is the red part) to dancing to the macarena to going into the deep backstory of Dr. One.
SSP has been an amazing experience, one that I look forward to having each and every day!
