7:30: I woke up to my alarm, only to turn it off and get more sleep.
8:00: After getting 30 more minutes of sleep, I woke up, remembering that I had Lab at 8:30, so I was kinda late…
A long day awaited for me — lab was programmed to be 8 hours long. Although today’s lab wasn’t hard, it surely was exhausting, as we had to filter our protein through a Nickel column, which required a LOT of patience.
While we were doing the lab, it rained for the first day, which I expected to happen sooner. As true biochemists, we didn’t care and locked in for the lab.
16:30: After 8 hours of lab, we had finally finished…
but we had to wait some time to leave the building, as it was raining pretty hard
Now here’s a pic of the thunderstorm aftermath
9:00: After eating dinner, we headed to Wells Quad to finish our introductions for our research paper.
While doing our intros, however, we got distracted by an appealing red glass whiteboard
10:00 After writing our intros (and taking a look at some orgo), we went back to our dorms, took a shower, and went to sleep.
