My morning started off with a mad dash to breakfast and a speedy search for the Science Hall with my roommate Siyona. Our usual classroom had been overrun by 4H kids and thus we were forced to go old-school with a chalkboard.
After an enlightening lecture from Dr. Andersen and lunch, we embarked on a midday trip to the NMSU bookstore for a much-needed Starbucks run. During the visit, I picked up Max the panda, who joins Mort the teddy bear in our growing collection of SSP-related stuffed animals.

Lunch was followed by an astronomy lecture from Dr. Rengstorf, before heading to Dominici hall to dedicate some time to tackling my physics problem set.
Our work was soon interrupted by Siyona and Kevin’s, whose uncontrollable laughter at a Vine compilation brought a much-needed break from the mess of code on my screen (Kevin is such an iPad kid).

Later, my teammates and I located our asteroid in all four sets of images and picked out some stickers to put up on the progress chart.
The day concluded with a late-night visit to the game room, where Bryan impressed us all with his impromptu keyboard skills and singing.
