Hiiii this is Michelle from NMSU Astro 2! Today is Friday and I am so glad that the weekend is coming! This week actually is not as stressful as the first week because not only did I get more used to the pace of this program and was able to familiarize myself with all the nice people here, but we also had so many field trips and fun events this week that we didn’t spend that long studying!
It was so nice when we finished the lecture today because that was the last one of this week! Yup we actually don’t have one this Saturday morning because we are going on a Target trip tomorrow morning! All of us are extremely excited because we finally got the chance to shop for snacks! I can imagine the chip shelves being emptied once we arrive at Target.
Today’s lectures are also not as hard as usual, with both of them being mostly proofs on simple physics concepts. Everything is perfect! (Except the fact that I procrastinated on the Astro Pset 2 that had an extended due date and now has two Psets due on the same day)
The food is as good as usual today. I got three ice creams in total and made this perfect swirl in one of them!
One of the best things about the food here is definitely the vanilla ice cream. We also had fried chicken and potato, which tasted extremely good combined with the sauce!
