Hi everyone! I’m Kathy and I’m a rising senior from Los Angeles. Since this is Day 2 of SSP I’m very excited for what’s to come! I have to say though I’m not excited about the roaches, heat, and the skunk I had an encounter with last night… Everyone has been so nice and welcoming so far and I know that it will be hard to say goodbye in the coming weeks. I absolutely cannot wait for my first observing shift with my INCREDIBLE teammates! And the first field trip to Target because I forgot to pack so many things… and this is a photo before our first lecture about astronomy with Erin, Ebadah, and Sarah!!
