Hellooo SSP!
It’s Jonathan (Temecula, CA) again and WOW so much has happened last time we have talked. But today is a perfect example of what a classic SSP day has been like throughout the last five weeks. Today started off with a early morning breakfast at O’Donovans (fruit, eggs, and a hashbrown) and a lecture that would help us create great figures for our poster and paper! Then, we had a professional photographer take pictures of us listening to the lecture in the lab and collaborating on making a outline for what a discussion section of a paper should be. After this, most of the SSP cohort (myself included) absolutely devoured a Chick-Fil-A meal (I will miss the weekly Chick-Fil-A visits 😭). Lastly, after dedicated work-time for our upcoming deliverables, we all watched and greatly enjoyed Griffin’s TA talk all about the process of sketching. For me, I was so surprised to learn the small and intricate details that can make a big impact on how a drawing looks.
Even though today means that there is only a week left here, I am so grateful for this opportunity and meeting all of these amazing people! I will always remember these days! And for the last time here at SSP, I’m signing off!
