Roaches: 1, Anna and Jasmine: 0. It had just turned midnight and my roommate found a roach in our dorm. Soon after, we were removing everything from our room and got other girls on our floor to help with the roach hunt. Here’s a picture of us in the middle of it:
Sadly the roaches weren’t located and are rumored to still be prowling on our floor.
After a restless night, I went to classes and had some dining hall food for lunch. It was interesting, but then again, it always is. After lunch, Jasmine and I ran to go see if the roaches had come out from their hiding spot. Unfortunately, the roaches were smarter and are still hiding in their own Narnia.
Soon after this second defeat to the missing pest, we went to afternoon lectures and had our research meetings. Then it was time for dinner. Being the iconic person I am, I spiced up the dinner dress code and had the girls all wear black or white. See cute picture below:
Everybody looking good really raised my spirits and carried the rest of my day. After dinner, I used this vibe to finish out my problem sets. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10 day at SSP (except for the roaches, but don’t worry Jasmine and I are ready for them if they decide to return). Anna signing out.
