SSP Blog with a movie night

I woke up today and had a quick swim on the way to breakfast (meaning I got soaked by a large
rain cloud). By the time I had finished eating the downpour had become only a sprinkle. What
good timing! I guess that was my punishment for waking up too late.

After swimming and changing my clothes I headed to the lab at Chas to finish up some
assignments. I then realized that I forgot my flash drive which contains very valuable
information. So I headed back to the dorms to pick up my flash drive and on the back ate some
lunch.
By this time it was a little past noon so me and my lab group members got together to finish a
lab that was supposed to be done Thursday. After a splendid 13th trial with our Biomol enzyme
assay we finally secured valid trial data. What a relief!

After finishing the lab I was gonna just collapse on my bed but I found the energy to read. I then
practiced soccer in the weather that had now turned into sweltering heat, a cloudless sky, and
wind. What interesting Midwest weather!
When I came back from dinner I watched Ulee unpackage his new ear buds. He appears to love
them and said himself, “I am never buying another Apple product again…ok, maybe the
phones.”

As a group Purdue Biochem we finished the day by watching the new movie Nemona. I loved
the animations and plot. GTG. 🙂
