Not gonna lie, I have no idea how I am going to approach writing a blog since I’ve never done one before so uhh… I’ll go ahead and give it my best shot:
I’m pretty glad that I had a few days to write this blog, as so many things happened that my brain hasn’t really absorbed the sheer magnitude of all the learning and experiences that happened these past few days. Having our first lectures and learning new astronomy concepts while surrounded by incredibly intelligent peers provided an amazing learning environment, which also helped with actually understanding most of the practice set (thank you Sam, Krish, David, and Nick for struggling through #2 with me). The food court is honestly one of the best and most consistent of its kind, which was quite the difference from college food courts in Texas. The workload, while definitely challenging, was honestly very fun in SBO’s classrooms. And lastly, thank you SSP gods for giving us spacious dorms with bathrooms!
I look forward to the many more secrets and surprises SSP will bring.
Nick, if you’re reading this, there is a SPIDER on your shoe (trust me).
