Hello everyone! I’m Jenny Wang and I’m a rising senior from Frisco, Texas. So today was an unusual day as we had our first field trip to Crowder Lake. It was about 20 minutes away and a major perk in my opinion is that we got to ride the fancy bus with good seats and air conditioning (the air conditioning really came in handy with today being the hottest day of the week)

After we got there, we first learned how to repel down a wall. There were a few screams and shaky feet (including me), but it was fun.
Then we went on the zipline. Surprisingly the scariest part was climbing up the pole. I swear I almost fell on the last steps. There’s a harness though so you still won’t die thankfully.
We then got to kayak and swim in the lake.
I’m going to keep this short cause I’m quite tired, like these activities don’t seem like much but then you combine it with 100 degree weather and I’m out. So after that we went to Walmart and started the lecture at two through four then lecture from six till nine. And that concludes our first field trip.
