Hey guys, Michael here. It’s the very start of July and the very start of a new week. Time for some daily blog. Last week was long and anxious because my ring size, Q13’s reaction, took a week. On the other hand, I was working on an essay. Today, everything started coming together. I filtered out my product, yellow crystals – the crystal of my hard work!
We began working on the metal complex formation for Q12 groups, but all participants are using different ligands and different metal centers, which form the basis of our essays. The glove box is cool. I felt a strong sense of atmosphere as the glove box sucked me into the butyl gloves. The metal complex I’m working on is a nickel complex. I love the mint green color when the metal stirs with the ligand in DMF.
Mahjong is invading SSP. As a Chinese, I feel proud to see Mahjong spreading in the US! It’s fun and intense to play it here!
We are recording a safety video recently and preparing some teaching materials for next year’s SynthChem program. Wei is drawing some cute diagrams illustrating PPE!
