It’s a me a Mario and im writing today’s super exciting SWOSU blog post, and it has been another busy day. I got to go back into the lab after a 1 day break and I couldn’t be happier. Not saying I don’t want to work on my team’s research paper intro but I’m also not not saying it. Plus the lab is like a million times more interesting and just what I need to wake up in the mornings.
Finally got to work more on my metal complex which is pretty much nearing completion. After doing some filtering using tiny plastic frits and some rotovapping and just a bit of waiting, everything in the lab is just a bit waiting, I finally got my metal complex. 2 and a half week of work finally saw completion and one of my 3 metal complexes are done.
(No photos of the final product but the purple liquid there in the middle is what mine looked like before it was dried and filtered)
After a good lunch and some caffeine I went into 3 hours of lecture. Got some photos of some of the other participants locked in and being studious.
Then after a good dinner I had a nice game of pool, we all sucked tbh but it was fun.
Then did some more lecture and ended the day with the best way I could conceive, working on psets :(.
Another day at SWOSU complete.
