Jenny here again, here to tell what we did on this fine saturday. So initially when I chose this I thought today would be a chill day, I mean it’s a saturday right? Naaaaaaaa not happening. So in the morning we still had lab, continuing to make our metal complexes. Normally the day would be over after lab, but today we had our college and career day. So after lab we headed down to eat lunch in a skyview suite (fancy lol).

Then we started our college and career day stuff with a zoom and q and a with a caltech representative. Honestly that was really cool, I’m definitely going to apply now as they give a similar vibe as ssp which I love. Then we had Courtney Hill reassure us that we were going to get into a good college (thank you I will use that later). Then we went back and changed into our super formal clothes.

We had an awesome idea of playing Bang (board game but you should know what that is now) in our formal clothes.

So the formal clothes were for our first keynote speaker, Ashanti Johnson, who is a chemical oceanographer, which is super cool as I didn’t even know that was a field.
And after that we went back to doing psets, and for me writing this blog. I’m going to finish the pset now hehe.
