The Filler Episode in the SSP ’22 Season

For the 16th day in a row, I wake up and find myself staring at an unfamiliar ceiling, smelling an unfamiliar ambient environment, blinded by unfamiliar sunlight poking through unfamiliar blinds. There is truly no place like home, and I yearn to be back in it.  However, I also would hate to miss out on the classmates, group mates, friends, TA’s, mentors, and experiences that are in store for me.  Thus, I built up the resolve to get out of my bed for the 16th day in a row.

Stress. A feeling of emotional or physical tension that comes from any event or thought.  Common signs include frustration, anger, or nervousness. As a student who faces constant deadline anxiety and has a pessimistic outlook on my future, stress is a great way to give yourself motivation and push yourself to reach success (ofc, that’s a joke). I easily achieved this by realizing that I could freshen up my day with my AP scores. Fortunately, I received very decent scores, not bad but not the best.  Already a great start to a great day.

Throughout the day, I worked on lab work with my group mates and attended a class lecture along with two class activities that introduced us to new topics that will help us as we begin a new assay.  Now, a very short, very brief overview of the food at Purdue.

At this very moment, I have gone on the longest streak of my entire life, eating sandwiches three days in a row!  Whether it be McCallister’s beef roast sandwich with chips and a cookie, BUTTER bread with light mayo slices of what I believe was salami and ham with lettuce and tomatoes, or two of Au Bon Pain’s Extra Bacon BLT in one sitting with two chip bags, sandwiches have filled my field of view when it comes to food.   All jokes aside, the food here has been wonderful.

I am truly in awe with how much happiness I have felt, how many people I have befriended, and how much work I have been able to accomplish in these last two weeks.  SSP has been great to me so far, and I truly cannot wait for tomorrow’s trip to Turkey Run National Park and every single day after that. Now for a word from my sponsor: Raid Shadow Legends.

Greetings! (The Finale)

I was Konnor, and now I am Konnor from Southern California. Basically, everything is my hobby, but I also do have a few hobbies other than those ones. I have two eyes, two arms, and two feet. However, I also have glasses! I hope to remain as ambiguous as possible and achieve my goal of getting into college and getting a job.
