Either rent a car at IND or take a scheduled shuttle to Purdue. If possible, select and reserve the shuttle in advance. If your flight is delayed, you may take a later shuttle without penalty.
From IND: ~1 ½ hour
From ORD: ~2 ½ hours. Important note: Chicago is Central time zone, Purdue is Eastern, one hour later.
The Union Club Hotel located in the Memorial Union on campus is within walking distance of buildings SSP uses, and served by all airport shuttles. Alternatives:

Open House day will be held in the Stewart Center, Room 212, 128 Memorial Mall, West Lafayette, IN.
Park in the Grant Street parking garage, 120 N. Grant Street, West Lafayette, IN. Walk underground to through the Purdue Memorial Union to the Stewart Center. Due to construction on the Stewart center, walk outside and enter through the doors on the southwest corner of the Stewart Center to reach the elevator.
