Hi, my name is Veer. I’m from North Virginia, and I am a rising senior.
Today was my favorite day in the program so far: AP exam scores came out! Just kidding, today was the best day because of the zoo trip!
We had to go to class in the morning, and we had team talks with Dr. Manzella and Dr. Duffy. That was a little stressful, and the added stress and tears from AP scores coming out did not help. Either way, there was only one thing on my mind: zoo
We arrive at the zoo. First stop: butterflies
Look at that caterpillar with wings
Next stop: ocean
My middle school mascot…
Frowny shark 🙁
What’s Dory doing here?
Ice bird!
The dolphin show was amazing!
Now that we’ve explored the ocean, let’s go to the plains.
Look at these exotic deer!
Why is he looking at me like that?
The rhinos looked a little sad today. Hopefully they feel better soon!
The two lionesses were just sleeping on a rock under the sun on such a hot day. If they were just too lazy to move into the shade, I can’t blame them!
This elephant was alone in the exhibit today, so she seemed a little lonely. She kept on walking in circles, hopefully the heat didn’t get to her…
Now let’s move on from the plains. Here’s a picture of the flamingos!
Unlike the flamingoes who were out and about, others were not in the mood to excercise.
Overall, today was my favorite day at SSP so far. At first, I didn’t have high expectations for Indianapolis zoo. However, that was a mistake, because I was blown out of the water!
